I probably still have this somewhere on a cassette, I listened to it over and over and over when I was a kid back in suburban chicagoland, it introduced me to all sorts of trouble back then and I am utterly grateful to have been able to find this sort of thing in the record bins at Record City or Wax Trax or wherever I picked it up back then. I'm downloading it now, will see how it holds up to the nostalgia...Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02254285510657812710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4647347951643678479.post-89836880454024546682009-06-06T09:29:28.776-07:002009-06-06T09:29:28.776-07:00One of my all-time favourite comps along with &quo...One of my all-time favourite comps along with "Digging In Water", "Viva Umkhonto", "A Farewell To Arms" & "Keine experimente 1+2".

That Sac Trust song is the greatest they ever did, IMHO - but what do I know? :)

Great Blog with some real gems, btw.
Hanx and keep up the good work!

flylow from germoneyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4647347951643678479.post-88994805087248709792009-03-06T20:13:00.000-08:002009-03-06T20:13:00.000-08:00There is a CD retrospective of Chiefs material. T...aesop, i am a bit speechless -- i feel honoured! Thanks alot - that, alond with Russ' post made my week! And right you are - The Blasting Concept introduced alot of us to the SST world. When i first listened to Husker Du, that was the day Metal Circus came out, i hated it. Because i had the Pinnacle UK press i thought of it as some UK wanna-be pop shit. It took me eight or so years to get into it (and Land Speed Record did it for me in the early '90s - when all was sold and gone!!). Oh well, i think my sign is either late bloomer or ricochet...!Douchess of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07463343814917746558noreply@blogger.com
