Here's a fantastic little record from another unknown early Swedish metal band called Ambush. Some very gracious reader helped me cross this off my wishlist, but because I am an ungrateful asswad I forgot who that was.
Hell yeah, I really like the mid-paced tempo that they got going on. Fans of Witchcraft or Burning Saviours will be wetting themselves over this. Good post.
Holy Shit, What year is this from? The guitar solo on 'Spirit Of A Fool' is an exact bite on the Phil Lynott song 'Parisienne Walkways'! Or is it the other way around? Anyone?
Spring pojke spring, soldaten vandrar in i mörkret, låt solen aldrig skina.
ReplyDeletea ha.the other Ambush rules too!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, just awesome.
ReplyDeleteit was me, i sent it. same dude who sent lord of the command. this, this is my moment of glory!

Adam, this came out in 1984.
ReplyDeleteI think so did the Lynott song. And I believe it's Gary Moore who does the guitar work, but maybe impossible to know who ripped off who.
