Missile Command was the former band of Ludicra guitarist Christy Cather. They played Death Metal, smoked pot, and played classic Atari games. This demo was the bands only release and it is killer. Thanks to Christy for sharing this rare gem.
Whow... this is an aggressive fucker! Thanx for sharing!! Hm, any chance for songtitles & year of release, perhaps? And for the Atari-note: huahahaha!! Still remember that, me and my older brother had one back in time - funny that was!
"...à l’origine de nombreux clones et remakes. "La thématique ... simule une attaque avec des missiles nucléaires sur des villes américaines ..." Tout portait à croire qu'il s'agissait d'un jeux pour timorés revendu en seconde main à des gosses de rue. Christiansen serait selon ce groupe de métallos un produit de l'Union Soviétique ! Doooooood. A friend of mine at work told me about this site and I thought it was too good to be true... Thank you so much for your time and efforts!!! I don't need to explain that great tingle of nostalgia. All of this stuff is AMAZING! And the shit I never heard of before..? WOW what a great new trip. Cheers.
Yes, this is nice, and the only way to go much rapidly from one territory to another one after a plane ... but this is nothing to say about it, this is not the same time on human history
I expected this to be a lot siller and a lot less awesome with the Atari name and cover art but I just listened to it and this is some of the catchiest, rifftastic death metal I've heard in some time. And I like VERY few death metal bands. Awesome Electric Funeral cover too.

ReplyDeleteSong titles on the cover. Year, hmmm, I'm guessing around 98?
ReplyDeleteThis is fucking awesome. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAhhh... could have seen that by myself, sorry. Thanx!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many San Francisco based band references to this game.
ReplyDeleteThis would have to be... the third I've heard of.

Awesome concept. Can't wait to give this a 'spin'. Was there always a guitar on the cover of the cartridge?
ReplyDeleteI Alex I think the cover was a kind of future goodbye from the territory for the father of Tim

ReplyDeleteNo, its not the same time as human history. But Christy's guitar fucking kills.
ReplyDeletethat cover of electric funeral is fuckin awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty solid actually - yet another reminder of the buried gold that lingers in the hearse, waiting to be found.
