One of my favorite bands from the 90's, Load, takes on the seedy underworld of Pro Wrasslin' on their 1994 EP, Lumberjack Death Luge. Everything they did was pure drunken nihilist gold and way fucking out of print, this little bloodsoaked record is no exception. Get this now!
I like wrestling, rock 'n' roll, and records. This works on all three fronts.
ReplyDeleteI don't cheat! I'm from Jersey!
ReplyDeleteI bought this a long time ago because of the cover and I don't think I ever listened to it. I guess I should?
ReplyDeleteYes, Mike, you definitely should.
ReplyDeleteHey Aesop, the last 3 things I snagged (Eye & Chew, Regan Youth, Alle Totmachen)aren't workin'. I unzip em ... get some error message then the folders are empty ... any clues ... any chance you could re-up 'em ... they sound awesome. Tried the downloading Regan Youth a second time a couple days ago ... but same thing. Thanx in advance if ya can figure this ...
ReplyDeleteThanks Aesop
ReplyDeleteAnyone else having these issues that Christian mentions. I just tried them myself and they worked fine.
ReplyDeleteOh shit, I only know these guys from one song on a 90's comp...I LOVED that song, but it's been so long since I've heard it...something about eating soup and STOMAAAAACHHH!!! LOINS!!!! Been looking forward to more for a while. Awesome. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYes! I haven't been to your blog in a while and I just started playing the Pastor's Day 7" (I tracked down a copy of both that and Sleestack on ebay a while ago) and was reminded of where I got it from. I come here and what do I see? More LOAD! I don't know if you remember but I sent you a few messages on Last.fm bugging you to send me more Load. Took a while but thank you! I'm trying to track down everything possible from this band.
ReplyDeleteWell, never mind. I can't listen to this because it won't unzip properly, or at all actually.
ReplyDeleteTry it again. Many people have been able to. If it doesn't work send me an email and we'll find a way.
