I have a whole lot of band business that has me away until the end of the year. The Cosmic Hearse will resume upon my return around the beginning of 2011. I apologize for any stress this may cause you.
Hey I never knew how you found time to do this in the first place-- your work is our luxury. Keep amping this world up with esoterica! I mean, ROCK ON!
Aesop- You deserve a break! You have provided everyone with such great music that I could spend a month listening to nothing but the great stuff from the Hearse and I'd be fine. But if I do suffer from blog withdrawal, there's a great one I've discovered lately called Bleak Bliss (they focus mainly on experimental and psychedelic stuff).
Dude... Is it OK to take a break from the one-a-day world? I mean, I take off when I go on tour but even in the most strapped of times I feel this irrational sense of obligation to keep ripping tapes and cranking our posts for these faceless beings who (I hope) visit a meaningless URL on a daily basis. This post - perhaps more than any music you have shared on The Hearse, has given me something to think about. And for that, I thank you.
There is no greater joy to me than that of being "turned on" to unknown sounds. I am guilty, at times, of being a fuckwit who leaves no comments. That aside, please know that when you feel the urge to return to this inter-webbed space, there are those of us who will tilt back pints of dark ale in celebration, and press "play."
You got a hot and juicy burrito waiting for you here in Chicago if you are gonna come for a visit again. What's your meat preference? Barbacoa and Al Pastor here rocks!
I've taken this downtime to look through the hearse archives for stuff I missed. It's like looking through crates at the worlds greatest/strangest record store.
Oh shit! I don't know what to do now... How do I interact with people in a non virtual interface? Shit! Ah... Oh, well, knock some of their teeth out for me. I'll be waiting around when you get back. Thanks for the cool shit, also!
Hey man thanks for the Load Lumberjack Deth Luge awhile back, figure four leg locked my brain, as well as the ZZTop justice. Do you have any more Eye recordings?
I just was turned on to this blog by a buddy of mine. Very cool. I'm trying to find my way around. Do you have a way people can submit stuff - I have some obscure early 80's HC and I'm getting a USB converter for the vinyl etc.
Thanks for letting us know. Best of luck with all of your musical projects. LUDICRA is always in heavy rotation here.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Best of luck for your work. Can't wait for you being back here, and can't wait to see Ludicra at Roadburn! \m/
