Anchorite

Leather are a new school Hardcore band from Philadelphia. Anchorite is their debut 7" and it cooks with all the fury of the '80s bands. Reminds me a bit of the Nip Drivers faster, harder moments. So there is nothing new under the sun, I get it, you're jaded. Relax your curmudgeonly sphincter and be glad that some kids are mining Negative Approach for rage rather than Earth Crisis. This record is awesome.

  1. What's the difference between Earth Crisis' and Negative Approach's rage?

  2. NA's is Detroit working man existential angst. EC's is empty suburban jocktarded rhetoric.

  4. It would never happen, but watching John Brannon scrape resin from your bong until it glieamed like chrome on Headbanger's Ball would be way fucking cooler than anything Jamie Jasta has ever done.

  6. This is great. Thank you. I got this in the mail a few weeks ago but the wee lil' hole in the center of the record is strangely too small so the record stays still as the player keeps trucking. I've been too lazy to fix it, so this really helps me out. I should probably fix it.

  10. I find it hilarious that people are questioning negative approaches dominance over earth crisis. As for the jock thing.....Has no one ever seen earth crisis live? I love their E.C. branded basketball and football jerseys! They don't cultivate a jock image though, they're just sports enthusiasts.
