The Hanatarash continue their war against the noise music establishment on their third LP/CD William Bennett Has No Dick. Skreeeeeee, ponk ponk, skreet. zzzrrrrpppp!!!!
I bought really great new speakers and this is, appropriately, the first thing I'm listening on them. I've been in LA too long if I'm thinking, "If we sample this, will they be able to sue?" Who is "we"? and who is "sue"? I'm wishing there was a cute and bloody minimalist cartoon to go along with this, especially with bunnies. nice, thanks again, music for thought from pulled seeemingly at random from the A-hole. (Not calling you an A-hole, just figured I hadn't cussed enough in this and needed some gratuitous blasphemy)
My house guest from Eynsham says, "Poor William Bennet. This is not music. This is racket and has no melody. Melody kicks ass!" (I met her because she recognized me in the small village of Eynsham as being the bass player from Pink. Eynsham is a population 4 or 5,000. sigh.
Well, Tanaka, this is far more musical than anything William Bennett ever made. Definitely click the Hanatarash label and check out the other stuff. The collaboration with Evil Moisture is essential.
Its the second "compilation" of the 'Extreme Music' series, but it's not really a comp., but Bennett sampling African musick mixed with Whitehouse noise. Really good shit (there, I got my gratuitous blasphemy in,too).
There's also a 7'' vinyl released by The Gerogerigegege called "William Bennett Is My Dick" which could be a parody on this release? Anyway, could you post their collaboration with Evil Moisture? I would really like to hear that. :3
Also, I have their "Hanatarash 5" and "The Hanatarash And His eYe 7''" so if you don't have any of those two I can post it on TNA.
so The Hanatarash I don't know, whitehouse i do...i like noise, without noise there is no true appreciation of quiet.
...noise serves an integral purpose in my life, whereas, a lot of sounds (bands, genres or people) don't differ enough to consider a true option. drooooone -da
