Total Control

More Gai rarities ripped from this awesome reissue CD from Japan's Anarchy Centre Records. This is mainly for Sean and Slobo for providing me with so much killer noise punk, but the rest of you are totally welcome to it as well. Oh, and happy birthday, Matty Luv, wherever you may be.

    God, this rules. I love the Japanese approach to hardcore, sounds a lot more like the noise that the country is known for than anything that emerged from the west. Is anything like this still being made today in the land of the rising whathaveyou?

    The rulers...Gai is the ultimate...re: " Is anything like this still being made today in the land of the rising whathaveyou": this style is very much in vogue in Japan as well as other places around the world...for Japan, see D-Clone, Isterismo, Voca Protesta, Organism; for U.S.: see Lebenden Toten, Nerveskade, Morpheme, Dead Noise...the list is actually pretty long
