Crazed Brazilian crossover thrash from Psychic Possessor. The band ventures into some questionable "grooves" from time to time on their 1988 debut album Toxin Diffusion. Most of the lyrics deal in the dangers of toxins and biochemical weapons, an obsession that seems to permeate the scores of new retro thrash trend bands. I'll take Psychic Possessor over Municipal Waste or Toxic Holocaust any day of the week.

Ach! Municipal Waste & Toxi Holocaust must be two of the most overrated bands ever.
sweet! this is definitely way better than any of the new shit, and i actually like it more than most of the classic US thrash bands i've heard (the exception being slayer).

ugh, I don't want to download this. Sold my copy last year and I am certain that if I listen to it again, then I'll just be bummed. So I'm gonna watch a Russian war movie instead.

Don't "bring it" too hard tonight (what is this, an early 00's cheerleading movie?), as I will not be able to attend. Maybe if you guys would have booked a (ahem) dinosaur-themed metal band (ahem) I would be more inclined to bend the rules, but I'll be busy packing stuff and playing Transformers with the littl'un tonight. Whoever mentioned 'The Crazies' was spot on! Any of you learned punks ever see the 1980 Luigi Cozzi flick called 'Contamination' (aka 'Alien Contamination')??? This album cover looks like a still right before a head explodes. And that's a good indication...

I was walking around the park today with my ipod on shuffle, Psychic Possessor came on and I checked it to see what album the was. Seeing that little cross eyed dude in the has-mat suit made my day. thanks again.
I'm really digging back into the archives here, but I'm starting to get obsessed with the first wave of toxic/zombie/gore thrash. This looks like a winner.
