Vacant Grave

Vacant Grave and their mustaches formed in 1986 in the bullshit fuck-all town of Manchester, Missouri. They wanted to outevil Slayer and came pretty close. This is a party, but one where no chicks show up and shit gets all weird when the beer runs out. Here's three demos bundled in one easy download because I love you.

And We Love You Too. It's This Kind of Recordings You Share That Makes Us Want To Marry You, So We End Up Taking Your Record Collection When We Divorce. Thanks.

That is easily one of the best descriptions for a Midwest metal band I have ever read. Never heard of these guys before now, but now I gotta hear 'em. Thanks.

I only listened to the 1990 recording so far and it really reminds of Crossover era DRI which is always fucking good!

Ha ha, fricking Manchester, Missouri! The only other band I can think of from rural Missouri was the legendary Timeghoul! These guys look like a cross between Pentegram, Slayer and Motley Crue.. amazing photo.

I always had respect for the Grave for being true and proud, saying where they were ACTUALLY from, which was Manchester,MO and not "St. Louis." Anacrusis always says they're from "St. Louis" but they aren't and never were, they're from Bridgeton/St. Charles, MO. BIG difference, especially back in the late 80's and early to mid 90's. That's like being from Schaumburg, IL. and saying you're from "Chicago."
Anyway, Dean (frontman) was awesome at fartin' out those Kurt Brecht vocals on VG's Life Or Death.

You can just smell the pussy, cheez-its, and beer belches wafting around in those fuckin moustaches. The songs only add to the searing stench.

Probably not much pussy, but yeah.

Being the only band in a small town called Manchester, MO, I guarantee they had their pick of the local wenches who'd gladly part a pale, pocked thigh for them. Sprinkle in a handful of HPV warts and a case of Schlitz and it's a Vacant Grave party!

Moustachioed Metal Maniacs from Manchester, Missouri. Say that five times fast.
