Tatir

Tatir were a classically Greek Black Metal band that eked out two great demos before falling into shadow in 1995. Here is the first (and better) of the two, it is titled Dark Autumn Nights, and if you are fond of the traditional Greek sounds of old Rotting Christ this will not disappoint.

I love early/mid 90's Greek black metal. It's closer to the first wave (Hallhammer, Venom, etc...)than the Norwegian scene. The downside is most bands sound similiar to Rotting Christ. Tatir is no exception although I'm not complaining since I love this style. Thanks Aesop for turning me on to this...I found a link to their other demo, Fons Acheroni, if anyone is interested

Awesome band. Old School Hellenic shit is the best.

Also, apparently you're a hipster, Aesop:

Well, I am 40 but I like to think I was pretty hip in my day.
