The raw minimalist Montreal Black Metal band Akitsa's humble beginnings, a tape called Total Servitude, emerged in 1998. Even though Akitsa would grow into a more punk concern almost resembling G.I.S.M. at times, this demo shows a more Les Legions Noire sound and atmosphere, with a great deal of lo-fi experimentation and surface noise. Not one for the Black Metal dilattantes out there.

great! can't wait to listen to it!
thanks a lot!
Am downloading this one right now. Definitely going to enjoy it.
Akitsa is is awesome... this is a great tape
Fan-fucking-tastic. A quality noise-experimental-blackmetal hybrid. Leave it to those long, cold, dark Quebec nights.
Thanks!
Great one, thanks! It's a shame though that they seem to get worse album by album.
Great stuff! One wonders whether there was any contact between the LLN and Akitsa - they were all speaking French anyway.
I'm still amazed I got to see them live with Peste Noire and Sombres Forets during their mini-tour across Ontario and Quebec. During Peste's set O.T. and I were almost the only two slamming!
HAIL COSMIC HEARSE!
