Mordor

Mordor was an obscure Swiss doom band that obviously liked drugs. Odes was the band's only release and it is an elusive bit of collector nerd gold. Mordor offer up vague and spacious doom with smatterings of industrial ambience. Colossal and cavernous, and a song called "The Great Kat Is God." Did I mention they liked drugs?

Holy crap! Again, I don't know where you find this stuff. But I'm very glad that you do. The Great Kat Is God, indeed.

Hi

I never get problems unzipping your stuff but today I got a message saying the file was broken.

It seems to be the First track that is broken.

No need to post this comment but see if you get any other similar comments.

The rest of the album is incredible one for the ipod in the xmas shopping centre on a busy saturday afternoon will really put me on tilt

Yeah the 2nd album called CSEJTHE is great value and the ep DARK IS THE FUTURE is pretty good.

I used to have that 7" - it was a picture disc that A/xction Records put out. Not bad but not something I'd listen to a fuck of a lot. But yeahh, drugs would explain a lot about their sound.

So, is the photo of the release in the post the tape version? We have the CD @ KZSU and it's a B&W painting of a castle. He-he, I just got a promo e-mail from the Great Kat today.
