Wretched were from Milan, Italy. They played sloppy, breakneck, political hardcore. They did a split with the fantastic Indigesti in 1982 and followed up with this EP in 1983 titled In Nome Del Loro Potere Tutto È Stato Fatto. They were fiercely active in Milan's anarchist scene residing in the Virus squat, hosting shows, and running their own Chaos Produzioni label. They embodied the DIY anarcho ethos in the '80s and made some noisy fucking music in the process. Non dimentichi mai Wretched.

Wretched are the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the term "International Hardcore". Just a fantastic band, taking the Discharge stlye to whole new noisy amped up level. Raw Power had the talent, Wretched had dogged determinism. I celebrate their entire catalogue....
well stated.
awesome aesop, just awesome. this is, i think, their best release.
Thank you for posting this record; This is an amazing record. In terms of sound, but also in terms of aesthetics. I love the cover image; it embodies for me that negative political atmosphere of the Cold War, the Reagan era; all those news reels of the Soviet invasion in Afghanistan, the nuclear threat, the Reagan era, those military coups in Latin America, the Iranian Revolution etc...
I found the original 7" in a flea market in London, and paid exactly 1 pound. lucky me...
Wow... Carnivore just stole their album cover for Retaliation huh?
To be fair, it's a very famous photograph.
il 2 migliore Banda italiano Punk. .... la regola
One of the greatest drum intros ever on "Ti obbligano...".
Have been wanting to check this out for a while. Thanks as always.
Trying to avoid being a "fuckwit", so thanks for this and the Rollerball.
Ah damn, someone said carnivore before me.
Holy crap! Been looking for this for eons! (not very hard though.... )... I remember getting this when it came out and thoroughly digging it... Don't think I've heard this since '85...
Thanks man!
