White Lung, from Vancouver B.C. are my new favorite band, so fuck you. Their album It's The Evil was definitely one of my favorite releases of 2010. Here's there very first record from way back in 2007, an EP called Local Garbage. Since then the band has endured a few lineup changes, perhaps for the better. This record, while great, only hints at the excellence to come. Get on board here, buy It's The Evil, and then, in a year, when they are huge, complain that you were into them when they were still underground. Being cool is hard, but I try to make it easier.

Great band...and you are correct - this record barely scotches the surface of the topsoil on the mountain of greatness that this band has created.
wow, they are really great. i was vaguely aware of them, but had no idea that they sounded so good.
thanks!
once again, aesop, such a badass.
Agreed: "It's the Evil" is an amazing record, as are the 7"s I've heard. ("Magazines", "Atlanta") Haven't heard this yet, can't wait to, thanks for sharing!

It's the Evil is my favorite record of 2010. I haven't heard this yet either. Thanks.
I think there was just the one line-up change here (ditched the old guitar player), and i think you're right that it was definately for the better. Fantastic fucking band.
But dude, I'm too lazy to like, open another tab and find their myspace or some shit. What do they sound like?! 'cos that cover tells me nothing. Hard drive real estate is too precious. based on the novel push. by sapphire. Oh fuck it i'm DLing it so it better be good. or else...
Yea I hate that when poseurs have to latch on to a good band discovery.
Cool shit...Thanks also for the Christian Mistress lead. I'm guessing you've heard Blood Ceremony, but if not, it is the best female fronted Sabbath worship featuring flute the world will ever hear...I think.
sweeeet they rule
From the reviews it seems like the record is worth a listen.
bought a copy of the newer lp a few months ago. some how managed to not spin it yet. after hearing praise like this that's gonna change tonight.
do you think I could convince the bass player and drummer into a polygamous marriage...I can only only hope. They floor me.
Fuuuuuuuck yes, I love this band. They've been through my area a couple times. I actually didn't have this release, nice to hear it now.
