I lost touch with my strange friend Shannon. Turns out she up and moved to Baltimore and got married. Even stranger is her and her husband, Dustin, started a Black Metal band exactly the sort Cosmic Hearse goes crazy over. You know, weird, lo-fi, fumbling, mysterious. They decided on the name Corporeal, and Shannon went to work on the logo. When Dustin informed me they were sending a copy of their first tape release my way I was stricken with anticipation. When it arrived I was not disappointed in the least. To those who share my love of raw, peculiar Black Metal recordings I have one word, Corporeal.

Thank you much for this muddled little gem! Black metal the way it should be played/recorded.
Well done!
I just know I'm going to love this.
Baltimore represent! Totally remember seeing this band's logo on flyers at the local DIY spots. Never checked them out till now, nice to see some quality no bullshit Black Metal here. Thanks!
you know, logos are important
yesssssss
muchos gracias ;)
with love, from KEANU//REEVES
having only known shannon to play warbling schitzo druggie folk in crackstem rose i was pretty blown away when i listened to these guys on the gayspace, which i urge you to look at cuz there's a great picture of them playing live and instead of using a cement block or piece of wood nailed to carpet to hold her bass drum in place, shannon uses a fat kid.
This is great. They have some stuff up on ebay, I bid on the demo after downloading this here. I love black metal with loud, meandering basslines. This reminds me a little bit of Those Who Caress the Pale, maybe if Aldrahn did the vocals...
Chris
I met these dudes in Baltimore and Philly. Super nice, great music also. Good to see you posted their stuff.
Really good bee emm, with two beautiful beasts on the cover. Cheers!
