funny you posted this today, been blasting it all last week for the first time in a while, amazing stuff, tracks 4-11 are the absolute pinacle of raw filthy bm for me. Ildjarns best for sure though all his stuff has its charms, i even love the ambient albums though i may be in the minority there.

Yessir, it's unrelenting alright. Hard to tell what it has in common with black metal, though. Because Ildjarn was in Emperor? Because he doesn't like people? Try a nice long walk instead.
