Lumberjack Death Luge

One of my favorite bands from the 90's, Load, takes on the seedy underworld of Pro Wrasslin' on their 1994 EP, Lumberjack Death Luge. Everything they did was pure drunken nihilist gold and way fucking out of print, this little bloodsoaked record is no exception. Get this now!

No, not Godflesh the band, but rather the first 7" EP from one of Cosmic Hearse's all time favorite bands, Load. I've already said all there is to say about these guys on the other posts about them so without further ado, here it is.

Supersonic Motherfucker!

I can say without fear of contradiction that Pastor's Day by Load is the best 7" to come out in the rather musically humdrum '90s. As I mentioned when I posted Load's Sleestack EP, they might have been better known, but they were plagued by crack and stupidity. Everything they did was pure retarded gold, but this record stands above all, and that includes anything your shitty band ever did.

Smoking Crack with Syd Barrett

LOAD were the best sludge/hardcore band from Miami that you never heard of. They self released a handful of amazing 7"s and an LP through the early 90's. They might have been better known but they were plagued by crack and stupidity. I went to high school with the guitarist. Here is their 1993 ep "Sleestack"
