A New Age

Three of Brazil's wonkiest and most intolerant one-man NSBM bands are featured here on Chaos To Unleash A New Age. Evil, S.A.R., and Thallium have all been featured on the Hearse, all are among my favorite purveyors of South American retardo-black-misanthrope-metal. This 3-way hatefest has exclusive tracks from the bands (including a Brutal Attack cover from S.A.R., and a Graveland cover by Thallium.) The usual Cosmic Hearse caveat about being sensitive to fucked up ideologies applies here.

i don't get this "it's nazi and I'm jewish so how craaaazy is that?" kind of thing. You're the drummer from Hickey - you guys had hate for everyone even your fans, but you always had a sense of humor.
You know me, man, i'm the last one to be PC on your ass, but Hickey.
Know what i'm saying?
Where are all the bands in 2009 that are representing for that Hickeyish anti-everyone, satirical, Fukkk-the-man-and-steal-his-trumpet, squares-get-fukkked-out spirit?
Do they get love on the Hearse compared with NSBM?

Call me a hippy asshole, fine, but I'm just saying . . .

p.s. loved that RAATE post though!
Check out Menace Clan!

Schultzzz, I fail to see your point. What does Hickey have to do with the content of my blog, which is about strange and interesting music? And no, there is no band like HIckey and never will be, just accept that. Perhaps you can start your own blog and only post things by bands that don't hurt your feelings. You actually think I post NS stuff to be shocking or as you say "craaaazy?" Come on, you know me better than that. ANd yes, it sort of seems you are the first to get all PC on my ass, just because you have an unusual angle doesn't mean you aren't preaching some sort of inane morality to me.

"Brazil, home of the Vikings".
How stupid,you jerk.
Any of the bands sing about vikings?
Do some research about the history and population of the country before vomit such ignorance here. There's a lot of direct european descendants in Brazil. You might be one of those thinking that Brazil is all a big jungle and the capital is Rio De Janeiro.Stop looking only at your country's belly.
Heard about pan-aryanism?
How ignorant people tend to be...
There's a lot of white people in Brazil,as well in Argentina or Chile.Just because they are brazilians they cannot be proud of their race?

Minnesota is the home of the vikings. And being proud of something you had nothing to do with is lazy, and on the same note, being ashamed of something you had nothing to do with is foolish.

Where can I find the lyrics to the nsbm bands you post? I'm not for or against, but curious.

Metal Archives:

a good place to check. They don't always have lyrics but provide them when they can.

it's way late in the game to act scared of NSBM now.

I have no problem with NSBM because it shows the sort of idiots the holocaust was run by. At least they're not holocaust deniers.

Shannon and I were watching the most recent Paul Mooney stand-up movie. At one point somebody was offended by his sort of humor, and he replied "If it's funny, then fuck you!"

I say, if it rocks, then fuck you.

I didn't think that "Brazilian one-man NSBM bands" was such an expansive category that someone could pick the top three for this release.

Next up? Taiwanese neofolk collectives who specialize in song cycles about the War of 1812.

was PMRC and Tipper the conception of PC? and how sad is the bad "good" movie like "PCU" is made valid?

Guess I missed the bus on your similar posts. In my ignorance I had to look up NSBM (National Socialist Black Metal) to even see what that meant. Interesting. Rational thought is thrown out the door here, only serving to prove the theory that 90% of the world is filled with idiots. The anonymous brave guy's comment about white people in Brazil was classic, but the response "being proud of something you had nothing to do with is lazy, and on the same note, being ashamed of something you had nothing to do with is foolish", was the best thing I've heard in a long long time on the subject.

justin, your comment is full of win.

To the guy trying to rationalize white power black metal in Brazil of all places... why don't you try a shorter route: dudes listen to shock rock bands they like, dudes make shock rock bands like the bands they like, dudes try hard to disregard lack of ideological continuity because WWII iconography is super edgy and totally worth it.

You don't have to be white to be into 'let's pretend'.

@ The same or another brave anonymous commentor, was that supposed to be "wind" instead of "win"? If so, yes I am.

"being proud of something you had nothing to do with is lazy" You're kidding right? Tribal recognition is deeply imprinted into our psyches. Understanding and connecting with your heritage is vital to knowing oneself and is a natural compulsion. I won't bother pointing out the difference between this and racism, but certainly working to find out who you are (and subsequently feeling proud of it) isn't lazy. Or maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to say.
