History Channel-Guitar Synth-Jazz-Black Metal? The work of a twisted outsider genius? An elaborate joke? I can't really say, but the Hekaloth Records label has a bizarre mission statement, a ridiculously primitive website, and a few different releases by "bands" that of this genre they seem to have invented (bands include Shevalreq, Thursar, Gluttony, and Xynfonica.) It's so confusing, and seemingly insane, either you instantly will be a fanatic follower of all things Hekaloth, or you just be puzzled and somewhat disconcerted. Here is Tournament at Constantinople by Shevalreq to let you know where you fit in.

The ECM of metal
Oh no not this, me and the Kids are off out, make your own dinner!!!
Sorry but today I'll read Art as Art, my favorite book of all times
That will not help humanity and that's maybe another one thing why I love so much art of the post war
The blue cover is splendid but this is a detail
I went to amoeba today and ended up picking up some hisato higuchi and totally turned around and saw the wall of new releases and there was a Mutilation Reissue LP. I immediately thought of your blog and how it's helped out the lln exposure. that rules
This is possibly the most unnerving thing I've ever heard.
My coming panic attack and I thank you for exposing us to this.
Thanks for this. I haven't had a chance to listen yet but from the looks of it this label could be one of the greatest discoveries ever... Please let it be so - I can't face any more disappointment.
Something tells me if Muslimgauze was still around,it would sound nothing like this.
use this on all your buddies today:

thank you for turning me on to so many things i would otherwise know nothing about - i just went on to amazon, hoping to find out something about this record and there was one review - the person gave it one star and wrote "Some things just leave me plain speechless. After listening to a few tracks of this, all I can say is...WTF. Over.
keep em' coming and have a great day! darrylseattle
this is the greatest cd i have ever heard, it makes me feel like im watching a learning movie in grade 5, and the narration is done in black metal vocals.
ECM is the beginning of the harmony between man and woman music sensibility
this is nothing like muslimgauze and nothing like someone like muslimgauze
the mp3 is ok
my best guess:
Sin Nanna has moved to Vancouver.
Discovering that his new neighbors do not enjoy hearing weak drum fills and cranked practice amps at 3AM, he decides to change his approach. He hits up the pawn shops and music exchanges. Finds an AKAI sampler and a couple of dusty Roland guitar synth modules. He glues the guitar synth pick-up to his Hamer (or Kramer), plugs in, and discovers the glory of bad world music instrument patches.
He also decides to apply his knowledge of HTML to designing his web page. Although it looks like a Geocities/Angelfire page from 1998, it lacks the definitive touches such as animated GIFs or frames upon frames.
Also, this is the weirdest music I've heard in a few months.
Hello everybody, I'm Joe from Washingtons.
A free minder (bad speaker) loving intoxicate, torturing and to be violent with womans, especially the modern ones, that can be dangerous for the supremacy of male cultures
Maybe lot of yours will never know how it is a pleasure to be alone, having sex with man and woman that you don't know and so on and so on
But this is not the point
The point is that since 30 years the only guys that really helped prostitutes (I'm not one but as a bitch I can speak for a mother and for a gigolo) to have a real professional condition have the same colour than this wonderful book I was reading today
Make sweet dreams, this is not a detail
Well, here it is, the future of music.
For the first time in my life, I find myself thinking, "I wish he'd talk normal! I can't tell what's happening!" This album has turned me into a grandma. Also, the guitar solos remind me of Clapton Shreds. Good stuff.
I was ready to hate this because I hate irony - but it's quite enjoyable...
Aesop - Nice choice for your banner picture! - does your book include the 2 mythen which were later removed?
I'm not sure what's going on with your ESL stalker guy, but this seems like it might be another piece of the puzzle.
PS Loving the History Channel BM stuff.
This is oddly reminding me of that Warning album you posted a while back. Albeit, without infectious krauty-grooves and with a lot more arbitrary riffs, absence of song structure, and total capturing of what the minds sound like of some of the sharpened soap-dish, self-shitting dudes wandering downtown.
this is why the music don't turn to green kevin :)
My copy of Deities & Demigods unfortunately does not have the Lovecraft and Moorcock sections although I had it when I was younger. Erol Otus is my favorite artist of all time.
This is shit post some Sabbath
This so far is amazing!
Ive been scouring the internet for months looking for this thanks. Any chance you have any Thursar or Gluttony?
D&D Lovecraft and Moorcock?
page 112 Nanna-Sin!
Otus is a pussy, Jeff Dee is the man!
geek on!
Bless you Aesop! This stuff is in the same vicinity as Gae Bolg & the Church of Fand. Not sure what to call it and no matter, it's great listening.
Thanks for exposing this curious and interesting label...I checked out their site then trotted on over to CDBaby.com where the Hekaloth discs are available.
Cheers,
this is backwards lobotomy black metal. even more inexplicable than moevot. i have no idea where you find this shit. the repeated vibra-slap samples are driving me insane.
where did you find this shit? haha its not even in the metal archieves.
It's awfully telling that kitsch shit like this gets more comments than say, something good like Emperor. Fucking hipsters.
Just reading these comments will make someone want to download this weird shit.
This statement is not a review, it's a preview, of nothing.
I love this. NOW I am proud to be a medievalist.
Reminds me a little of Especially Likely Sloth, but definitely its own brand of wtf.

...That's because most of us here already listen to Emperor. No one has ever heard of this wierd shit.
some kid, he picks up the residents cd vileness fats and then a carcass cd and tries to merge them resulting in crap.
lets clear the air here.
try some atrax morgue to flush all those furry fuzzy flowers you are feeling with this into the sewer. the voice and cello casio sounds make mr magoo retch some long godzilla farts.
