Decapitated

In 1983 Bones left Discharge and formed Broken Bones. To round out the ranks of this new group, Bones enlisted his brother Tezz (also formerly of Discharge,) and their mates Nobby and Bazz. Broken Bones debut EP, Decapitated, was unleashed in 1984. While nothing Broken Bones ever did comes remotely close to Discharge in their prime, I still find every Broken Bones release thoroughly enjoyable, and Broken Bones later flirtations with metal were far more palatable than Discharge's. Just sayin'.

Just discovered this blog and have thoroughly enjoyed all the obscurity of it. Great record by Broken Bones Bones. This and their Crucifix 7" are amazing. Totally overlooked UK band.

Aw thanks, I've been thinking about Bonecrusher a lot lately (See Through My Eyes specifically) and this was just the thing to get me off my ass.

Maybe a week or so back you posted a Mexican black metal band. Do you own or have the ability to post any Xibalba (another good mexican black metal band)?

Xibalba is great and I do have plans to feature them here at some point.

Now you've done it. I'm going to post the Bonecrusher Lp.

Dave G, that is their finest moment. I want "Death Is Imminent" played at my funeral.
