All You Can Eat

All You Can Eat were a mainstay of Bay Area punk in the '90s. The band was somewhat reminiscent of Fugazi and SNFU. Besides being a great band with one of the most energetic and engaging frontmen of all time, they were tireless and determined and some of the greatest friends I have ever had. This is their very first EP from 1991, and I love it still.

They played in my city in Brazil in the 90s. One of the coolest concerts I went. Good times. Thanks for all the great stuff!

Not sure who the artist is, maybe the band can shed some light on that.

The artist's name is Tomoko. She was a penpal of Devon's from Japan. The flipside artwork shows a more playful style that I love also.
Thanks for posting this, Aesop. you know the US Hugs Triad will always defeat evil. xo

Seeing this record/band on the Hearse is like seeing parents at Gilman St.

Tomoko Saito drew the cover.

Next post - Fuckface?

Is that good like punks who are now parents or ungood like the square parents of punks too young to see Isocracy unchaperoned?

Never heard of Fuckface? Any good?

Fuckface were like The Mr T Experience meets Skankin Pickle. Good clean pop music. You'd probably like them. In fact I think you slept with the bass player, Robert.

I had one of their singles with aCharlie Brown cartoon. I don't remember it at all which is why I parted with it.

I missed All You Can Eat when they passed through here but really enjoy Conquest for Death's live performance. I'm not sure how one of the guys from Aussie D-beaters Pisschrist became involved with CFD though.

The band on the cover does not look like they'd go out and play FUGAZI type of punk, more like DRI type of thrash!! Never judge a LP by its cover, huh?
cheers

The main difference between AYCE and Fugazi is that Ian McKaye isn't in this band.

He did write the liner notes for this EP though. But you know, don't ASK him about it because he's very secretive and will probably deny it completely.

Seth is a master carpenter - dude makes INSANE jigsaw puzzles, for reals - and he just did some awesome cabinetry for my old lady's skin care studio.

A great nod to "Tom Sawyer" by Rush in one of the songs.

These tracks are on a web page with their discography.
