A true pioneer of original music, he will be missed...
And a very nice man too. I had posted on my electronic music project's MySpace page four or so years ago that he was an inspiration of mine and he must have Google searched himself and found my page. Imagine my surprise when Conrad Schnitzler wants to be my MySpace friend! We had an emailed sort of conversation for several years after that, talking about making music, synthesizers and things in general. I knew he was sick but I didn't know it was this bad. so sad. Extremely generous person as well as pioneering musician. He will be missed.
Red, I don't doubt it. Thanks for that wonderful account. When I think about how far reaching this man's influence was the loss is that much more profound.
